Rachel Ray - An Everday Cook

Have you discovered Rachel Ray yet?  She’s such a cutie and women all over Canada are loving her for her fun and innovative approach to life, home, and yes, cooking.  She’s so upbeat that watching her show is always fun.  But the Rachel Ray cookbook is awesome.  It’s filled with recipes that you can actually use every day without needing to make a special trip to a specialty store.  It is comprised of recipes with every day ingredients that you likely have in your house right now.  And it features things like 30 minute recipes, meals for one, holiday favorites, and so much more.  I dare you to try this book and not find recipes you’ll use all the time!

Cooking Light

Sometimes it is hard to find good recipes that are more suited to a healthy lifestyle and lets face it, when our family is at home we want to make sure that they are getting something nutritious into them. We spend so much time out of the home these days that eating out is pretty much inevitable. It happens. But when it does our choices aren’t always so great. So, when the family is at home eating together, it is best if we can find good food to enjoy that is healthy as well.

Everyone has their favorite recipes but Cooking Light magazine can help us make those favorites into healthy favorites. It’s one of the few magazines that I subscribe to because there is always some useful cooking infomation and always great recipes to enjoy!

I’m a huge fan of The Biggest Loser reality show so as soon as this book came out I had to buy it.  It is filled full of great health recipes that your whole family will love and that will keep you all healthy.  I never knew so many of my favorite dishes could be made so healthy.
